About Us

The TIME Task Force was formed in August 2002 to address critical safety and mobility issues related to traffic incident management in the Metro Atlanta region. The task force is made up of concerned incident responders from transportation agencies, fire, rescue, police, towing, emergency medical services, etc. In 2017, the TIME Task Force voted to expand its coverage outside of Metro Atlanta and is now a statewide program.

Our Mission and Purpose

Our mission is to develop and sustain a state-wide incident management program to facilitate the safest and fastest roadway clearance, lessening the impact on emergency responders and the motoring public.

The purpose of the TIME Task Force is three-fold:

  1. To continue the dialogue on improving inter-agency coordination and cooperation.
  2. To create an opportunity for multi-agency training to promote teamwork.
  3. To serve as a platform for participants to develop common operational strategies and a better understanding of other agencies’ roles and responsibilities.

TIME Task Force 2025 Q4 Meeting
The TIME Task Force is always looking for new ideas and different perspectives to keep our program offerings and events relevant to the needs of our members. We currently host quarterly member meetings and alternates each year between our TIME Task Force Conference and the Executive Briefing Breakfast.
