TIM TEam help
Traffic Queen…All I’m trying to do is to get the word out that there’s help for ANY agency that’s in line for a TIM Team startup….we’ll answer the questions, help organize, explain what we’re all about and will go just about anywhere to get TIM Teams started. Folks need to know that we’re all about helping agencies out…we figure that if they know that it doesn’t cost anything to put a team together, they might be more interested. Times are changing (no pun intended) and TIM teams work to help get roadways opened quicker and safer…Maybe we can get more folks coming to the quarterly meetings too…..

BADBOB… DEAR TRAFFIC QUEEN… I AM REALLY CURIOUS ABOUT THE TREND OF USING THE CURRENT (TRIP)WRECKER SERVICES TO EXPAND INTO SMALLER COUNTIES AND AND CITIES THAT HAVE LOCAL WRECKER SERVICES PROVIDING HEAVY RECOVERY. THESE LOCAL SERVICES DON’T HAVE THE VOLUME TO BE ABLE TO AFFORD THE NECESSARY EQUIPMENT REQUIREMENTS TO MEET TRIP GUIDE LINES AND IN MOST CASES THE ONCE IN A BLUE MOON TRACTOR TRAILER ACCIDENT IS ALL THAT KEEPS THEM ABLE TO PROVIDE JUST BASIC LARGE TRUCK SERVICES TO THEIR LOCAL GOVERNMENTS, SO WHAT HAPPENS WHEN THAT IS TAKEN AWAY? INSTEAD OF USING THE CURRENT (TRIP) WRECKER SERVICES WHY CAN’T TRIP HELP TO SUBSIDISE THE SMALLER COMPANIES SO THAT THEY TO CAN PARTICIPATE IN THE TRIP PROGRAM.
THIS WOULD ALSO HELP YOU GET MORE FOLKS INVOLVED AND TO THOSE MEETINGS BY ATLEAST GIVING THEM A SENSE OF BEING ABLE TO PARTICIPATE INSTEAD OF THE DESPARE THAT THEY FEEL KNOWING WHAT LITTLE WORK THEY HAVE IS GOING TO BE HANDED TO COMPANIES BECAUSE THEY CAN WRITE A BIGGER CHECK
